How can I get the sound back on received e-mails?

I no longer can listen to e-mails that have sound in an attachment. This
started happening in the last week or so. My speakers work for CD's, so it
isn't an equipment problem.

This really spoils the fun! If I can't get it back, I'll use a different
e-mail provider.
