How can I get WIndows Mobile Device Cetner to actually sync?!?!

The "new" and "improved" sync capabilities are disastrous compared with the
ease of use of ActiveSync & XP Pro. Between Vista and WMDC a complete sync
has yet to take place.--even after HOURS of trying, uninstalling,
reconnecting, etc. The whole process is overly cumbersome, quirky, and
nearly totally inbeffective. E.g., why does it install a new driver just
because I connect my smartphone to the cable?!?!?!

Hi JD,

To install the Windows Mobile Device Center, I believe you have to first
install your Windows Mobile Device onto your computer (e.g. plugging it in
and let windows install the drivers). After installing the drivers go to
Windows Update and from there I think you can get the Windows Mobile Device
Center, that's what I did when I install my Windows Mobile Device onto my
notebook computer.
