How can I get word 2000 to open outlook 2003?

Forms created with office 2000 ( word, excel etc) are unable to open the
outlook 2003 program. Err (unable to open the email program)

You need the same version of Office/Outlook for office automation to work.

After furious head scratching, Downunderman asked:

Why was I silly enough to think they would be compatible??? Time to look for
useable software.
