HOW can I get Word to allow printing on 9.5 X 11 edge?

Printing on Divider Tabs

Trying to create a template that will allow printing on divider tabs

You would have to define the page size as something bigger that 9.5 as the
printer Word will probably protest if you try and position print in what it
considers to be the unprintable area of a document. Just what your printer
will do when the page is not the size specified, I don't know.

If I'm not mistaken, Avery (and perhaps others) provides both index tab
labels & inserts for which templates are available. Would it not be easier
to use them than trying to print directly on the dividers?
