Do you already have the song in either a wav. mp3, or wma file? If so,
simply click Insert then Movies and Sounds, then Sound from file and browse
to the location of the file. Click on the file and then OK. Depending on
the version of Office you have you may be asked How do you want the sound to
start in the slide show. Click Automatically and it will place a speaker
icon on the slide. Move it to the corner or place it under something else
to hide it.

Click on Help and type in "insert music" for more help in placing music or
other sounds in a PPT file.

(BTW, if you are planning on exporting this PPT show to another computer,
make sure that the music file is in the same folder as the saved PPT file
when you insert the music. This will make it easier to copy the files to a
cd to export and make it easier for all versions of PPT to find the files
again.)
