How can I invert a line of text when I create a card in Word?

I want to invert a line of text on the back of a card that I have created. I
put the text in a text box and tried to change its orientation (upside down).
The text box moved, the text in it didn't. What am I doing wrong?

You're doing nothing wrong. Normal text in Word cannot be rotated -- even if
contained in a shape. Rotating text isn't word processing functionality,
it's graphic design/page layout :) You can use WordArt to create a graphic
object which can be rotated, or you might consider doing such projects with
programs such as MS Publisher which are designed for that purpose.

use a photo programme, I used adobe photoshop elements. I created a small
page, typed in the text I wanted, then clicked on image, selected rotate and
turned it upside down, I saved the work as a jpeg and then simply inserted
it into the word document using insert, picture, file

___________

-Insert Word Art
-Type in your text
-Right click
-Format
-Rotate 180 degrees

did the trick for me!
