How can I keep my meeting history when I stop a recurring meeting.

When I stop a reccirence I lose all record of the series. Is there a way to
modify or stop a reccurence without changing past events?

Have you tried putting an end date on the recurrence? A recurring item is
just one item, not one item for each occurrence.
