How can I link a cell in one worksheet to a cell in another works.

I am trying to link a subtotal on one worksheet to the total on another
worksheet in the same workbook so that as i enter information in one
worksheet the total on another worksheet changes to match the updated
subtotal.

Any number of ways.

One option - with the subtotal cell selected, choose Edit | Copy from the
menu (or press Ctrl-C), then navidate to the other worksheet where you want
the subtotal to be referenced, select the target cell, then choose Edit |
Paste Special from the menu and click on the Paste Link button in the dialog
box that's presented.

Another - with the target cell selected, type an equal sign, click on the
tab where the subtotal appears, then select the cell with the subtotal, and
finally press the Enter key.
