Word is not the best application for this because it requires some of the
text to be upside-down. Publisher is designed to do this job.

There is a way, but in Word it's a PITA. See

techniques for turning text.
A much better alternative is an inexpensive program dedicated to making
greeting cards. Try www.broderbund.com for example.

You could use text boxes or tables with the text turned 90 degrees. You can
turn graphics by 90 degrees also. (If you do not have access to Publisher or
another application.)
