How can I make a ppt presentation run smoothly for those viewing .

I created a ppt presentation in ppt 10 that comes with Office 2000. Not
everyone in my company has this version or xp. There a many effects in it.
When viewing in a previous version the animation is off and clunky and timing
all messed up. What can I do so that they can see the slick presentation in
this later version?

Basically you have three options:

1. Upgrade everyone to the newer version of PowerPoint so the new
animations/transitions you used to create your presentation can be viewed by
everyone.

2. Click "Tools", "Options", and on the "Edit" TAB, check the "Disable - New
Animations" option. This way you can't use the new ones and those with
older versions will be able to view everything you design in the
presentation.

3. Have those with older versions of PowerPoint download and use the new
PowerPoint Viewer to view presentations with these new
animations/transitions. You can learn more about the viewer at:

Hope this helps!
