How can I make background pictures not tiled in Word?

All the pictures I have selected end up tiled on the background. Is there a
way to make it just one picture as the background without taking the pic to
another app and resizing it?

Hi LaineyH91,

Word doesn't tile pictures of its own accord and has no setting to do so.
