How can I make MANUAL CALCULATIONS permanent

I constantly check "Manual Calculations" in my excel, but every time I close
the program, it reverts to automatic calculations.

You're posting in the wrong place. Access is the database component of
Office Pro. Please scroll down the list of subjects and post your
question in an Excel newsgroup.
