How can I make my stem cell powerpoint the best?

I am doing a powerpoint presentation and I need it to be above average.
Everyone is adding animations and sounds, but how can I inprove? The progect
is on Stem Cells and so far I've do the basics(nice background, few
animations, little sound). Any help would be great

I know, I know, please pick me!!!

Ok, a little over the top I agree, but it makes a point. If you want a
really great presentation then present the subject matter. Animations,
flamining widgets, etc. are there to *possibly* enhance your content, not be
the content. <g> All I am really saying is that the "gee whiz" stuff in PPT
gets over used and often detracts from the message you are trying to get
across to the viewer.

Tell me this, what about your "content" is different from the others or
compelling enough to grab my interest? Not how it's presented, but the
content itself. What have you added to the subject? Those might be the
place to look for inspiration to a great presentation.
