how can I open my document with a difrent program ? is there a waY

I no longer have the program Microsoft word because of a virus I no longer
have the CD ether and now I cant open my documents
which have my resumes and several importaint letters that I need excess to
is there another program that will open them if they were created in
Microsoft word?

You probably already have Wordpad on your system, Start, Run, Wordpad. If
this is not adequate go to Microsoft Download Center and enter "word viewer"
in the search box

If your computer is older you may want Word Viewer 2003, which is available
to the end of the year.

«With Word Viewer 2003, you can view, print, and copy document contents to
another program. However, you cannot edit an open document, save a document,
or create a new document.»

This will be fine for opening the documents but if you need to modify,
format and print them then seriously consider replacing your copy of Word or
at least getting something like Works. I don't know what your requirements
are but you could take a stab at it with Wordpad.

In addition to Earle's advice you may want to download and install
openoffice (www.openoffice.org) which is a free "clone" of the Microsoft
Office programs and will open and run most Office data files without any
problems.
