how can i patch a song with my powerpoint presentation?

i'm trying to send a powerpoint presentation by e_mail,but the song i entered
doesn't work on other pcs...i've benn told that i should patch the song with
the presentation before sending it but how can i do it?

What sound format are you using? If the music is in wav format, you can embed
the music into the presentation. If you are using other format, you can also
try to convert the music into wav format using sound convertor. By doing so,
the music will be embedded into the presentation (preventing the link from
breaking) and you do not have to email the music.
(see below link for instructions)

For non-wav format,
Create a new folder and move the ppt and music into the folder.
Now, open the ppt file, delete and reinsert the music to create a pathless
link.
Then, save your presentation.
Email both the presentation and music.

thx for your help..it really gave me a clue about the problem...but there's
another problem now..i can't e_mail the whole folder with the song...in
another computer,the e_mail recipient says that there might be unsafe
attachments so it blocks it permenantly or something like that..

You don't need to email the folder. Just the presentation and the music
file.
