how can I pull up a word document that I accidentally lost?

I've been working on my word document all day. I tried to submit it to my
online class but I forgot to save it first . now its gone. can you help me
pull it back up?

You tried to send it as a mail attachment?
Maybe you can get it back from the "Outbox" or "Sent items" folder of your
email program?
