How can i put a watermark on my pictures?

I am sorry that this is most likely the umtenth time people have seen this
question. I see a lot of put a watermark on your pircutre to try to protect
it. But no one says what Microsoft program to use. I use Photo editor to
edit my pictures. How can I put a watermark on them? What other program can
I use?

I don't know Photo Editor, but many image editors will do it.

Here is a good free one www.irfanview.com

I did a test on one of my pictures.

All you need to do is highlight an area on the image, using the mouse. Then
use: Edit | Insert Text into Selection

I use Picture-Shark (free). There was a learning curve for me at first ( no
surprise :). Only use copies of your pictures at first to learn and test the
program which is available here:
