How can I read a Word 10 document with Word 7.0?

Hi Bob,

There is an import converter available for Word 6/95 (7.0):
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;162214

After you download and install it you should be able to open documents
for Word 97 - Word 2003 since the file format has not changed since
Word 97.
