how can i recall a forwarded meeting invite?

Ask in the BODY of the message. Don't use the subject for the question.
Provide details like Outlook version and account type.

Recall works only under very strict conditions: 1) You must both be using
the same Exchange server. 2) The recipient cannot have opened the original
message. 3) The recipient must open the recall notice. ANything else
probably won't work.

Meetings don't have recall, they have cancel, plus recall seldom works. Send
a note to the person you forwarded it and apologetically rescind the invite.
