Is there a way that I can override the Level I attachment blocking in Outlook
2003.
I would like to allow attachents to come through based on the sender.

Go to slovaktech.com and click on Products. Scroll down to Attachment
Options. This shareware program will do what you want (and more).

See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.htm for ways to get the
attachments off. The addin from slovaktech is the easiest.

For more information on the security features, see
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup.htm

If you use OE, hit forward on a message or disable it in tools | options |
security.

The Outlook add-in, Attachment Options, will only let you change which
filetypes are excluded from the remove/block list. It will not do what
the OP wants which was to unblock an .exe attachment based on who was
the sender. The easiest way to do that is to retrain that particular
sender. Have then rename the extension so theirfile.exe gets attached
at theirfile.exx and then you rename it back to theirfile.exe when you
save it. Or have that sender compress it into a .zip file and attach
that. Otherwise, changing the registry to not block .exe attachments
means they are unblocked for EVERYONE that sends you e-mail with an .exe
attachment.
