How can I receive outside messages?

I just started working for a knew company and I realized I cant get emails
from outside of my company..Why is that?

you mean that you can't email someone at _HOTMAIL_ or you cant browse
_HOTMAIL_?

I've worked at plenty of companies that won't let you browse hotmail..
and some companies that won't let you email zip files..

But I've never been blocked from emailing someone at hotmail.

Back when I worked at 'MSN Quality of Service' I did demonstrate that
hotmail -> hotmail lost 13 random emails in the matter of a month.

And apparently Microsoft thought it was _MY_ fault.. LoL

You're asking at the wrong place, Gina. This newsgroup is for the database
software Microsoft Access, not for email or for general computer questions.

Please either repost the question in a forum supporting your particular email
software (there are many email programs, and you don't say here which you are
using); or talk to your company's IT department, who may well have put
restrictions in place.
