How can I recombine contact lists? UNGROUP instruct. didn't work

I used the catagory function and made a separate contact file for Wedding.
Now I want to recombine the Wedding file with the larger Contact file.
Please advise.

Clarify what you did and what you want to do now.
There is no such thing as a separate file in Outlook. All data resides in
one file.
Using categories does not create a separate Contacts Folder.
