how can I recover emails from corrupted 2gbpst file?

Hi,
I have an outlook 2007 pst file that has stopped working. Nobody noticed
it's size until it stopped. It is 2.3GB. I have tried a couple of things to
get it to work again including transferring to another pc with outlook and
inbox repair tool. Nothing works. What is the best way to repair this file
or even split it? It is important to save all the emails if possible.

Why does Outlook still have this limit?

Cheers
Lenny

Only ANSI pst's have a limit - so you either used an old pst with outlook
2007 or created it. Outlook 2007 will create unicode psts by default.

See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/repair2gbpst.asp for methods and tools
to repair it.
