I need to reduce a Word document's size. Currently it's the graphics that's
taking up so much memory. Any way I can reduce the graphics to below 200 dpi?

Hi Word Graphics,

Select any picture, choose Format | Picture... | tab Picture | Compress.
Select Print to compress to 200 dpi; select Web/Screen to compress to 96 dpi.
Select 'All pictures in document' to save yourself a lot of work.

Good luck,
Cooz

Hi Cooz,

Funny--my Word 2002 does not let me perform the Compress; a friend's Word
2003 works fine, just as you described it. To further complicate the issue,
in one of these Word communities I read where Word 2003 will not respond to
"unchecking" the Compress box.

Got any ideas?

Thanks!!

Maryba
