How can i reformat my drive, and reinstall Office without Reauthorizing?

T

Trav

I want to clean my system up, whats the easiest way to
get office working again once i do that? I'm worried that
it wont let me reauthorise it? Is there some files, or
registry settings i can backup, and restore?

Any help is much appreciated!

Ta,

Trav.

Firstly if you format yr drive, without backing up yr data you will lose
everything on that drive
Yr Office apps, by *default* store data files in the My Documents folder,
other apps may store data files elsewhere.
OL stores its data file in a *.pst file, by default in Documents & Settings
folder group
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm#pst
OE stores data in dbx files http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/ for help
If Office or win requires re reg, its a simple process, via web or phone.
