For some unknown reason the keys on the keyboard dont all correspond with
whats printing out on the screen - i.e. the " should be above the 2, but is
actually on the '@ key and vice versa. I have no idea how to remap the
keyboard, can anybody help or point me in the right direction please? thanks
Carol

It's not an Office thing - it's in your Regional settings in Control Panel

Hi Carol,

In Windows XP Control Panel, in Tegional and Language Settings,
choose [Customize] on the 'Languages' Tab, clcik on details.

Then set the Keyboard and Input Language to the country of choice.

In Start=>Programs=>Microsoft Office=>Microsoft Office Tools
check the Language Settings tool to see which English locales have been set.

This is usually caused by Regional and Language settings in contro
panel.

Navigate to Control Panel -> Regional and Language options -> Click o
Languages tab.

Click on Details button under "Text services and input languages".
Choose the required country and set it as your default. e.g. Canada an
US keyboards have @ on 2 and " on ' key. UK keyboards have vice versa.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
