How can I restore Project Professional 2003 text styles?

In MS Project 2003 (and possibly 2000), if you select the entire project,
click Format>Font and select Black and Regular, you override all Text Style
formatting.

Is there any way to restore the ability to set Text Styles (in Format>Text
Styles) once you have set formatting with Format>Font?

That fixed most of it, but not a section pasted from another timeline. That
section was a simple paste of specific fields and not an import or total row
copy/paste. I can explicitely format rows and cells, but the Text Style
format has no effect in that section. I'm going to try exporting and
importing sections and the entire plan next.

The rest of the problem was the MARKED field!

(A subsequent search of other posts confirmed this, but it didn't make sense
until I noticed that MARKED is one of the things you can set in Text Styles.)

The total fix is:
1. Clear the MARKED field (copy it to another Flag field if you need to
retain it).
2. Edit>Clear>Formats

THANK-YOU!
Steve.
