how can i retrieve an attachment that was deleted

i was doing an assignment and tried to send it as an attachment but was
unsuccessful and some how my saved filed has disappeared is there any way i
can retreive my file thankyou

It's still on your computer just do a Search for it by name...unless you
actually deleted the file you attached after you emailed it...and even still
it will be in your Recycle Bin
