how can i scan my stationary into word to use as a background?

I bought specialty printer paper with designs on it. I would like to make a
flyer in Office using it as a background. I would also like to shrink it to
use in a post card mailing. Does anyone know how to do that?

Scan and save as a .jpg. Open Word, Format, Background, Printed
Watermark, Picture watermark. Other methods exist, feel free to experiment.
