How can I see my calendar while I'm emailing?

If you mean you want a window with your Inbox AND another window with
your Calendar open at the same time, just start another instance of Outlook.

It might be easier to right-click the Calendar at the bottom of the
Navigation pane and then click "Open in New Window".
