One way is to open the document using the "Recover Text from Any File"
setting (for "Files of type" in the File Open dialog). This is available in
Word 97 and above. The font list will be toward the end of the file. Be
careful not to save in this format, and if you have Word 97 or 2000, be sure
to reset "Files of type" to your normal setting, as the "Recover Text"
setting is "sticky" even between Word sessions (this was corrected in Word
2002).
