How can I see the Model Explorer in Visio 2007?

After opening a new UML Model I cannot see the UML Model Explorer window. I
have tried checking & un-checking the "Enable Automation events" check box in
Tools/Options/Advanced as suggested in the Visio help but no success. Any
ideas what can be done about this?

menu UML -> View -> Model Explorer
