How can I separate the image on a logo created w/publisher 98

I'm trying to have some business cards printed by a local shop but they ask
of me to give them a separation of the logo that was created from Publisher
98 with the wizard. Can't find a way to do so. Can some one please help?
Please note that I don't know anything about commercial publishing or
computers. I just followed that instructions from the program to create the
card.

Select the logo, copy, paste special as a picture, copy again, open the Clip Gallery,
right-click the catalog, and paste. You now have the image separated from Publisher.
Do your printers want the logo as a Publisher document? You can drag the image into
any application once it is in the Gallery.

I read it as the logo being a separate thing.
Okay, file, prepare file for printing service, click Set Up Publication, once you
make your selection, click next, Use Publisher's commercial printer driver, next,
print the checklist... This checklist will aide you in what you need to know about
commercial printing, which basically I do not know much. Click finish.
Go back to file, click prepare file for printing service, click create file in
PostScript. Select the Imagesetter (could be the MS Imagewriter in Publisher 98) as
the printer. Print separations should be checked. Print to file should be checked.

Mary, I thank you for your answer but, as I mentioned, I'm totally lost when
it comes to computers. I did what you said about copy the logo, but where am
I supposed to paste it and make it as a "picture". I called the printer again
and I was told that they DON'T want the Publisher image, that each box needs
to be separated and printed in b&w for them to be able to print it with the
colors requested.
Hope you can still help this ignoramunus.

Save your file as a PDF, there are free converters around.
Try this one, some folks have said it is pretty good. Most printers will accept
PDF's.

These articles will be a great help since I haven't help much

The logo, once you copy it and paste it back into Publisher as a picture, (you may
have to crop it) then you can copy it again, open the Gallery and paste it into the
Gallery. A dialog box will come up.
