How can I show what line I'm typing and set pagination.

My Office set-up does not tell me what line I'm typing and won't let me do
automatic pagination. I've checked under tools, view, etc. and can't find
how to correct this. I do some of my own medicolegal documents at home when
my staff is on holidays (like now). Anyone help?

You are missing the status bar perhaps? Check Tools/Option/View and
make sure "Status Bar" is enabled.
