How can I stop a pop up message about Outlook express can compact

How can I get rid of a message that pops on my screen every few seconds. "To
free up disk space, Outlook express can compact messages." My computer has
Outlook 2003 not the express version.

Outlook Express and Microsoft Office Outlook are 2 completely separate
applications. Your notification is clearly coming from Outlook Express so
you must be running that as well.

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

Can you check with the Task Manager if Outlook Express is actually
running? If so, is it a startup item?

Or could it be Disk Cleanup that is issuing the message?
