This is usually a symptom of a damaged mail profile. Outlook loses track of
what it has and has not downloaded. Create a new mail profile and allow
things to download one more time and it should be OK after that.

I have already done the reset of the profile and I still receive a copy of
every email I send. The email goes to the person I send it to, but I also
get a copy of it in my own mail box like I sent a BCC. It is really annoying
and tends to fill up my mail box. I have another email address witht he same
provider and it does not do this. Could I have set up something wrong?? I
have double checked it several times.

Describe exactly how you did this.

What type of account? What version of Outlook?
