How can I switch on Macros in Word 2003

Enable macros? Set your macro security level to Medium (Tools | Macro |
Security), and then documents containing macros will give you a dialog upon
opening allowing you to enable macros if you choose.

In Word, click on Tools | Macro | Security. If the current security level is
High, change it to Medium. The medium setting will prompt you to say yes or
no to each macro that attempts to run. Do not change the security level to
Low, because the low setting allows all macros to run automatically without
warning, which makes Word vulnerable to macro viruses.
