How can I take email addresses from mail and merge them into My C.

My problem is this, in Outlook Express, all email addresses in texts of
emails show with a purple link to click on. However in Outlook I cant do
that. How can I get email addresses from my sales leads to merge into Contact
or Calender or make them always show as a link like Outlook Express does?
