How can I tell which install CD was used to install Office 2003.

I have two copies of Office 2003. I installed one on my computer and the
other is for another computer. Is there some way to tell which of the CD's I
installed on my computer? Both packages have been opened.

Actually, the SKUs are different. The only way to see is to try using one
of them to install on a second computer and see if you get a message about
too many installations.

Looking back I see that the OP didn't say both sets were the same edition.
Nor did he say that he has the product keys. Seems he didn't say a lot, huh?

I am sorry if I didn't provide enough information. The Cd's are for Office
2003 and yes, they are the same. One of them is for my son's PC and I am
unsure as to which one I need to give him or if it matters. Yes I do have
the keys as well.

There we go :)

Go to http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html and run Belarc Advisor. That
will give you a nice inventory of what's on the computers, with (most of)
the product keys. Match it to the product key on your copies of Office.
