How can I transfer domain name to another registrar?

I need to transfer my Microsoft Office Live domain name to another registrar,
but it is locked and I don't have any controls except 'edit' which allows me
to change my WHOIS info. It also says Melbourne IT (MIT) for registrar. So
the Office Live help documentation suggests that I go to MIT and ask them to
transfer it.

When I go to MIT's website to retrieve my registry key, MIT says that the
domain is not registered through them, but a reseller. Getting the runaround
here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You'll need to find out who the reseller is, and contact them.
