How can I turn MPEG files that are on my iTunes into WMP files so that I can
use them in PowerPoint?

Hello Charlie,

iTune MPEG files are DRM protected MPEG-4 AAC files. The iTune files are
encrypted so only the Apple's software can decode it. It is designed to
protect the rights of the artists, so it is illegal to decrypt DRM protected
files. Sorry.

Thanks Karl
Bad news then. I recorded the album myself onto iTunes so
i will just have to borrow the CD and record it again
onto WMP. Will PP play music from iTunes?
Thanks again

Not sure if powerpoint can play music from iTunes.

However, there is an indirect way to use iTune MPEG files. Burn the files to
a CD in iTune, then rip the CD to WMA with Windows Media Player via Copy
from CD.

Thanks again Karl
I orinally gave that some thought but was not clued up
enough to know if the CD would reflect its origin and
therefore not be able to be ripped by WMP. I will do that
now and get back to you.
Thanks
Charlie

Total Recorder (www.highcriteria.com) can capture anything going through
your audio card. I haven't tried it explicitly with iTunes, but you can
explore that option.
