How can I turn off PowerPoint Playing AVIs when I click on them?

I am using another media player, and I don't want the users to replay the
video accidently using the PowerPoint Player. I go to the next slide fine if
they use the Action > Forward button, but some people won't.

Remove the "advance on click" and "advance after xx seconds" settings in
sorter view for that slide. In this way the viewer MUST use the advance
button you supply on the slide.

Turning off Advance on Mouse click stopped it frin advancing with a mouse
click. But it still plays the AVI in the PowerPoint Player when I click on
it. The real problem is if they click on it, it will repeat the same slide.

I have deleted ALL annimation settings. It says "Select an element of the
slide, then click "Add Effect" to add annimation."
