I have gone into Control Panel/Add Remove to remove Office 97, but when I
click on Remove I get the following message "The Win 16 Subsystem was unable
to enter Protected Mode. DOSX.EXE must be in your AUTOEXEC.NT and present in
your PATH." I need help with this, Thanks

Do you still have the Office 97 CD that was used to install the program? If
so try this: Insert the CD and start the setup program on the CD. Once it
starts it should find the program and ask if you want to modify, repair or
uninstall the program. Select uninstall and see if the error happens again.
If not it probably will uninstall OK. If it appears try to repair the
installation and then try uninstall again.

Let us know what happens with this method.

I inserted the Office 97 CD and clicked on Setup.exe and received the same
message. "The Win 16 Subsystem was unable to enter protected mode, DOSX.EXE
must be in your AUTOEXEC.NT and present in your PATH."
