How can I use a song I downloaded in windows media for the sound in my

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I can't find where to post a new topic.

Can anyone help with this please:-

I want to insert a music file into a powerpoint presentation. I downloaded
the track from the internet and saved it in My Music Folder. When I try to
insert it in my presentation I get the following error message.
"The server application, source file or item cannot be found or returned an
unknown error. You may need to reinstall the server application".
To make matters worse, the Help function in Powerpoint is not working.
Can anyone advise me what to do please.
