How can you change the S/N on a O2K3 installation

Hi All,

Just wondering if it is possible to change the serial
number originally used when Office 2003Pro was installed.
Basically, after installing and configuring the O2K3
installation I discovered that that particular Serial was
already maxed out of licenses. I have a different serial
number that I can use to activate the installation, but
would prefer to avoid having to uninstall and re-install
O2K3 just to change over the serial number.

Is there any workaround to change the S/N?

Thanks.

There may be an easier way, but I know you can delete the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Registration - if you have
more than one, you need to figure out which is for office (as opposed to
Frontpage or onenote etc). I think just deleting the product id entry is
enough - and as always, export the key before doing anything.
