How can you update the list of Avery labels in Word?

Is there a way to update the list of label numbers for Avery Labels in Word
2000?

You can't change the list of labels in Tools | Envelopes and Labels, but
you can add new label templates to the folder designated for User
Templates in Tools | Options | File Locations, and then create label
documents based on those new label templates by clicking on File | New.
