How come when using an Oracle table with Access its so SLOW

Im trying to use Oracle tables in Acccess and it takes so long to run a
query. Why is this and how do you get around?

Well, that depends on what you are trying to do and how you are trying to
do it. Some Oracle tables are rather large and if you are trying to pull in
the entire table it can move pretty slowly.
