How copy SharePoint page into doc w/some protected areas?

I am trying to copy a piece of a SharePoint page into a Word doc that has
several protected areas that I cannot unprotect. I can copy a page into a
new doc and crop it down to the info I want but I cannot copy that image into
my existing doc. I tried Ctrl V and Ctrl C. I tried Ctrl Print Screen &
Paste. Nothing is working.

Unprotect the document, paste then protect it again - or create an
unprotected section to paste into.
