How correct (or remove) "Compile error in hidden module: DistMon"

On opening (and exiting) MS Office Excel 2007, I get the MS Visual Basic
message "Compile error in hidden module: DistMon". How do I remove this
error message. Can I delete the hidden module "DistMon"? I do not get this
error with the same Excel version on my laptop!

It points at PDFMaker.xla as being the culprit.
