How disable outlook in taskbar

When I exit from Outlook it inserts a stub into the
taskbar. I think thats intestion is to alert the user
that there is new mail. This takes up some resourses and
I want to manage it myself. How do I disable Outlook
being loaded into the taskbar on exit?

Task Bar or System Tray? The former is where Windows places an icon for
every running program. The latter is where the system clock displays.
